Luck definitely favoured some B-town celebs and they got a kickass comeback in the industry.
1. Shraddha Kapoor
With a forgettable debut in Teen Patti followed by Luv
Ka The End, Shraddha Kapoor was yet to be noticed. However, she made a
memorable and kickass comeback with Aashiqui 2 and is here to stay
since.
2. Shruti Haasan
Shruti did not really get lucky with her debut movie
Luck starring Imran Khan. However, it was her comeback with D-Day that
truly got her potential noticed and appreciated.
3. Aditya Roy Kapur
Aditya started his career with supporting roles in
movies like Action Replayy, Guzaarish and London Dreams. Following a
three-year break he came back with a bang starring in the blockbuster
Aashiqui 2.
4. Konkona Sen
Konkona definitely got noticed for her roles in movies
like Mr. and Mrs. Iyer and Page 3, but it was only her breakthrough with
Omkara and then a role in Wake Up Sid that truly marked her place in
B-town.
5. Radhika Apte
First seen opposite Tusshar Kapoor in Shor in the City,
Radhika then disappeared from the Bollywood scene for a while. It was
her superb comeback with Badlapur followed by Hunterr, Manjhi, Ahalya
and Phobia that ensured Radhika a steady place in the industry.
6. Abhay Deol
Abhay’s first film Socha Na Tha didn’t really hit it
off with people. Same was also the case with his other flicks including
Ahista Ahista and Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. It was his comeback in Dev
D that got him deserved appreciation and recognition.
7. Manoj Bajpai
Despite having done superb movies like Satya, Aks,
Shool, Manoj Bajpai hadn’t quite made his mark in Bollywood as more than
a supporting actor. What changed the game for him was his role in Gangs
of Wasseypur.
